We also run courses in association with several establishments including Sussex Downs College. Our courses are normally 13 days duration, one revision day, a self study day and a final day for the two written examination papers - The Management of Safety and Identifying and Controlling Hazards (issued and marked by NEBOSH).

Candidates must obtain an average of 50% in the two theory papers and 60% on a Practical examination. Examinations are held on a national basis in March, June, September and December. Local examinations are available on demand for courses terminating at different times e.g. In House courses.

Pass mark is 45% per unit NCG1, NGC2 and 60% unit NGC3. ‘Refer’ means the candidate did not achieve sufficient marks and must resit the unit involved. Ideally retake should be as soon as possible but up to 5 years is allowed to pass the failed unit.
