progression to full corporate membership of the Chartered
Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH)
and/or the International Institute of Risk and Safety
Management (IIRSM).
The Level 3 National Certificate
is the recommended Pre-Entry route to NEBOSH level 6
Diploma in occupational health and safety. Persons holding
Degrees in associated faculties may also register for
the course.
IOSH are proposing to implement a new
professional career structure during 2005. It is advisable
for persons entering or already practicing health and
safety advisors to initially register with IOSH as an
affiliate member and the CPD (Continuing Professional

wide range of Safety, Fire and Environmental topics
including Managing and Working Safely, Construction,
Engineering, Environmental etc. Many courses are accredited
